Course
Upon completing the Instructor Training Course at The Ivy Institute of Nail Technology, graduates will acquire comprehensive expertise and hands-on teaching experience, positioning them for a rewarding career path as an educators within the thriving nail industry. Equipped with advanced pedagogical skills and industry insights, graduates can become educators for a skincare company, research developers, school owners, or state board inspectors.
Course Overview
Manicurist students must complete 300 Clock Hours, pass required tests and practical assignments according to the State Requirements, and attend an exit interview.
Requirements
The instructor training program requires all students to have a current nail license for three (3) continuous years from the Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners and complete a 300-hour practical and theory for the instructor license.

Our school engages a variety of teaching methodologies and training aids such as PowerPoint Presentations, DVDs, wall charts, demonstrations, in-depth hands-on training, and distinguished guest lecturers.
Representatives from our school partnerships will visit our campus regularly to continue to enhance the positive learning experience with the training that the Ivy Institute offers. We incorporate the Milady Master Educator textbook.
The 300-hour Nail Instructor Training course complies with the Tennessee State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers Examiners State Law that lists the rules and regulations for schools to adhere to in the State of Tennessee.
